Our pledge to safety is supported through four guiding principles:
1) Injuries are Preventable.
2) Working Safely is a Condition of Employment.
3) Practice and Expect Safe Behavior Everywhere, Every Day.
4) Perform a Job Only after creating comprehensive safety plan.
Adzemen’s safety-first approach strives to eliminate all worksite incidents through scrutinous pre-planning of potential safety hazards as well as the on-site practice of safe work standards. These standards along with our policies, mandatory safety inspections and mandatory safety training programs have created a comprehensive and effective safety organization. We believe it is of the utmost importance to assure our employees that they will go home at the end of the day uninjured. Adzemen focuses on reducing the most common causes of job-site incidents – such as slips, trips, and falls – by practicing a number of key safety behaviors deemed critical, and by fostering a culture of active caring. In a culture of active caring, all project team members are empowered to stop work and give constructive feedback to their colleagues if they observe at-risk behavior. And all team members are gracious when receiving feedback, recognizing that it reflects respect, care, and a commitment to mutual responsibility.
Owner Brian Gilgun and the entire management team is OSHA 30 hour Certified, qualifying them as the on-site safety officers of each project. Additionally, all current employees possess an OSHA 10 hour Certificate. This OSHA Safety Training Program will ensure that Adzemen Demolition has a proven track record of safety, professionalism, and responsibility on all job-sites and projects.
Adzemen Demolition only works with recycling partners that have been approved by the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection. All construction debris generated in job-sites is disposed and recycled at licensed and environmentally friendly facilities. Additionally, Adzemen provides its customers with all of the required tools to implement an effective disposal and recycling program.
